Classic Tartan Noir – crime fiction at its best

Half way through my third ‘Lennox’ thriller – it’s an almost perfect mixture of Philip Marlowe pastiche, Glasgow humour and clever plotting.    I’ve been enjoying it through the excellent audio books, read by Sean Barrett:

 

 

 

 

 

There are now four in the series, but best read in chronological order.

Craig Russell may not have had as much publicity as some other Scottish authors of so-called ‘tartan noir’ but he’s up there with the best.
